The Lafayette Street interchange will also act as a spur for redevelopment along the Schuylkill River. Official estimates expect toll revenues to increase by at least $130 million over a 30-year period. This estimate was derived after factoring out any traffic diverted from the Norristown and Valley Forge interchanges.
